Welcome to Loreto School Queenswood

Children playing soccer with their headmaster, in an outdoor setting, on a sunny day.

I am the Headmaster, Mr. Pallozzi. I have been a part of the Loreto Queenswood for almost 21 years.

Within my tenure at Loreto Queenswood, our school has always been an environment that allows children to be happy, confident, and carefree.

Every child is encouraged to discover their talents, through the nurturing of our teachers, art, music, and the interaction with other schools within our network and throughout our Pretoria English schools feeder area and the Moot area.

We  stand out amongst the rest, in our approach to sports and extra mural activities, in that , all kids are encouraged to try different types of sports and although winning is important, we place the importance on being part of a team... rather than just winning and, thus we foster a spirit of comradery and a sense of family.

Your child will be taught about the Catholic faith, Values and academic excellence in an environment that is encouraging and nurturing.

In the last few years, we have even added the label of “international travelers” to our name through our choir, that has been making a name for themselves in Gauteng. The choir is about friendships, teamwork, and commitment to the craft. We have won several school choir competitions and we are immensely proud of what the choir has accomplished thus far.

The Loreto Queenswood school community is made up of children from all backgrounds and it is here that lifelong friendships are formed.

We do not see numbers but personalities and characters that need to be guided and nurtured.

We believe that each child has the right to experience Joy, be guided by Truth and have the Freedom to discover their skills and talents and the choice to choose their path in life.

We strive to create and an environment that teaches Justice and honor and encourage Sincerity. Loreto Queenswood learners are taught to Respect their peers, their belongings, and their environment.

Our school is built on the Mary Ward values, which have been guiding us in leading these young minds:

Joy. Truth. Freedom. Justice. Sincerity and Respect.

The parents and teachers and the community work together to ensure that all learners received nothing but the best. We create memorable life lessons that your child will carry long after they have left the school.

I hope to welcome you as part of our in the year.

Blessings, Marcello Pallozzi

Whats sets us apart?

At Loreto School Queenswood, our distinctiveness is rooted in the core values that guide us-faith, hope, community, and a genuine love for what we do!

Our approach goes beyond traditional instruction; it's a deep spiritual foundation that infuses every aspect of our school.

In all that we do, we strive for the Greater "Glory of God."

Loreto School Queenswood learners embody the spirit of "doers of God and seekers of justice." We don't just teach values; we expect to see these values lived out in the actions and choices of our students.

Our ongoing journey involves sharing lessons of faith, nurturing a love for all, and fostering personal growth.

We firmly believe that the most enduring legacy is one that positively impacts the lives of others. By adding value to people's lives, we leave "footprints on the sands of time" that endure forever.
